Crash error while using FPS Monitor Software

What this problem is related to? (e.g. Game / Launcher / Website / etc. ): Game.

Describe the problem: Every time i go alt+tab and back running FPS Monitor the game crashes

What was the expected behavior?:

List the steps that occurred before the problem appeared:

  1. Run FPS Monitor.
  2. Run the game.
  3. Alt+tab.
  4. Go back to the game window.

Can you reproduce the problem?: Yes.

Operating System, Browser version, Antivirus, or any other related platform information (if relevant): Antivirus: Windows Security. The game is installed on HDD.

Looks like the tool didn’t request the buffer lock properly.
We’re not going to support 3rd party tools like this. I’d recommend to find a better tool.
