Visual details & skill usage in battles

What is this suggestion related to (eg. Website / Launcher / The game itself / etc. ):
Game UI and mechanics.

Description:
When I’m beginning a battle with monsters, the “Enemy is too far” red text always appears;
Selecting one monster and using a skill doesn’t make the player character go to that monster and use it, initializing a battle, because most of time that target is way too out of said skill’s range;

My suggestions are to make the red text not appear when a battle is about to begin, only if the player tries to attack while being too far from the target, and if possible, moving a character get in the range of the skill it’s being used to activate it.
